Deepika Padukone's Early Life
Deepika Padukone is a Bollywood actress who was born on January 5, 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is the daughter of a former badminton player Prakash Padukone and her sister is a professional golfer, Anisha Padukone. She grew up in Bangalore, India and went to Sophia High School and Then she attended Mount Carmel College. She has a bachelor degree in arts(Sociology), she was good in academics and sports, particularly badminton.
She initially pursued her career in badminton but later decided later to do modeling. She made her acting debut in 2006 with the Kannada film “Aishwarya”, and later made her Bollywood debut with the film “Om Shanti Om” in 2007. Since then, she has become one of the most successful and influential actresses in Bollywood, with a successful career in film.
Deepika Padukone gained fame by blockbuster movies like “Om Shanti Om” (2007), “Ye Jawani Hai Deewani” (2013), “Chennai Express” (2013), and an Hollywood movie “XXX – Return of Xander Cage” (2017).
